SMOKING CATS... lassen Jazzpop aufblühen! Vermischt mit Funk- und Soulelementen kreieren die fünf Musiker:innen ihren ganz eigenen Sound: elegant, groovig und ein wenig charmant. Die Musikstudierenden Yole, Luke, Viktor, Jo und Jara haben sich in verschiedenen Uniband-Projekten kennengelernt und schließlich die smoking cats gegründet. Mit ihren raffiniert arrangierten Covern begeistern sie ihr Publikum, bringen mit treibenden Grooves die Leute zum Tanzen und zeigen zugleich, dass auch reduzierte Arrangements voller musikalischer Spannung stecken können. Nach den ersten gemeinsamen Konzerten schlägt die Band nun ein neues Kapitel auf und arbeiten an ihren eigenen Kompositionen.
Formed in 2015, COMA ROSSI released the debut album in 2018 which recieved a lot of positive reviews all over UK and Europe. The second album Void was released in July 2024 followed by a 7 day long UK tour in October.
